A dog that takes part
The Toy Poodle and the Miniature Poodle are two of the four size varieties set out in FCI breed standard n. 172: the Toy stands between 24 and 28 cm at the withers, the Miniature between 28 and 35 cm. They are the same dog in two formats — the size changes, the character does not.
It is a refined, attentive breed with a remarkable capacity for learning.
What strikes us most is the way it relates to people. The Poodle observes, interprets and seeks contact. It follows what is going on and tends to become part of daily life.
every dog is unique
Its intelligence shows in the ability to notice change, read a situation and find a response.
It learns naturally when it is given clear, consistent points of reference. And every Poodle has a personality of its own: some meet anything new with enthusiasm, others prefer to watch before they move. Knowing those differences is part of our work.

The pedigree
The ENCI pedigree documents a dog’s ancestry. We choose breeding dogs with a recognised pedigree and consider traceability an essential condition of selection work.
It is one of the tools that let us know the genealogical history of our dogs.

What to know before adopting
Welcoming one of our dogs means making room for a new member of the family.
Living in a flat
It can live happily in a flat, as long as it has time and shared experiences with the family.
It loves to walk, play, learn and take part in daily life.
Small does not mean easy
Its small size changes the space it takes up, not what it needs.
It needs attention, training and stimulation.
It is not a fragile dog
It is lively, athletic and curious. It loves to run, explore and test itself against its surroundings.
Its own nature deserves respect.
The coat grows continuously
It has no seasonal moult, but it does need regular brushing and grooming roughly every four to six weeks.
Coat care is also a way of getting the dog used to contact and handling.
from birth to placement
The journey of our Poodles
Every puppy is unique. It is not a blank page: it already has a character of its own. Our work is to know it and to accompany it as it grows.
the first days
The puppies are born in the area set aside for litters, beside their mother. In the first weeks we begin to recognise their differences: the one that seeks contact, the one that watches, the one that makes itself heard, the one that prefers to hang back.
3–4 weeks
Gradual weaning begins. Then come the meadow, objects, noises, people and different surfaces. New experiences are introduced step by step, in keeping with the puppies’ own pace.
growing up
As the weeks pass, experiences multiply, along with the chances to meet different environments, people and situations. It is partly through these moments that we learn to recognise each puppy’s characteristics.
before placement
Microchip, registration in the canine registry, DNA deposit, health records and ENCI pedigree are all prepared according to the required procedures. Every puppy is given a name, which the family can keep or change.
meeting the family
We get to know whoever will welcome the puppy: where they live, who with, the rhythms of their daily life and how much time they will be able to give.
the day of the handover
Puppies leave when they have completed the required programme and when we believe they are ready for the change. They go with the required paperwork, their vaccination course and the puppy kit. Then we stay available: the first days in a new home deserve attention.
